It’s hard to believe it will be November already when you are reading this. I hope everyone was able to take advantage of the great weather we had in September this year and you were able to get your 2018 Target Year off to a great start!
Unfortunately I had to miss one of my favorite shoots of the year but it sounds like the Shoot for the Cure at Fall Creek Conservation Club was a major success! They had 89 shooters over the two days, and they were able to add a Miss & Out event thanks to contributions from many sponsors. Ron Ballenger took home the 1st place prize, with Blair Brimmer taking 2nd and Kenneth Heathcoate 3rd. In Saturday’s Singles C.W. Arnett was the Champion with the lone 200 straight. Sunday’s Handicap Event resulted in Kaleb Lanoue as Champ with a 97 followed by Brian Ingle & Rachel Budreau both breaking 96’s. In Doubles, Champ went to Cody Sullivan and Ryan Clark was Runner-up with 97’s. Kenneth Heathcoate took home the HOA honors with a 383. Congrats to all of these shooters and a special thanks to Dan & Desira Fesler for making this shoot a tradition while raising funds to fight such a worthwhile cause!
I wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. May you enjoy this holiday while taking time to appreciate all you have to be thankful for.
