I would like to congratulate the Indiana trophy winners at the Southern Grand. They are: Brandon Sullivan, Steve Auberry, J. Monte Morrison, Tank Lunsford, John Roussel, Garl Gresley, Tim Miller, and George Harvey.
Now that spring has finally arrived there are many gun clubs back to shooting their summer hours. There are also marathon and spring shoots at many of the Indiana gun clubs. A couple of clubs that give away money for breaking a 100 straight in any of the three disciplines are Glen Park Izaak Walton and St. Joe Valley Conservation Club. Another gun club that does a lot for the youth and women shooters is Five Points Conservation Club in Indianapolis. This club is run by Keith Weller, the Indiana AIM director. Keith has special events just for the youth and a woman’s night on the first Tuesday of every month. Five Points also shoots the ATA Big 50. As you can see, these are just three of the many Indiana gun clubs that promote the shooting sports for the men, women, and youth of Indiana.
Take a new shooter to your club and help Indiana Trapshooting grow. Don’t forget the Indiana State Shoot July 5-10 in Fortville. The Indiana BOD has been working hard to make the state shoot enjoyable for the entire family. Mark your calendars and plan to attend. I hope everyone gets out this spring and summer and enjoy the many fine clubs we have in the great state of Indiana.
