Greetings Shooters!
Hopefully when you are reading this in early March the sun is shining and if you haven’t already been out shooting trap targets this year you are planning to do so very soon!
I want to congratulate the following shooters who made the 2016 Indiana All State Teams. It was a little tricky formulating the teams this year due to making sure everyone was placed in the right Category, especially with the addition of the Sub Veteran, Lady I/II and Junior Gold teams for the first time. As a reminder, a shooter is eligible for an age-based Category team only if they classified for that Category during the target year. For example, a 57 year old shooter would be eligible for the Sub Veteran team only if they classified as a Sub Veteran at any shoot during the year. If that shooter opted to not classify as a Sub Veteran, they would only be eligible for the Men’s Open Team.
The 2016 Indiana All State Teams are as follows:
Men’s Open- Eric Shroyer, Jason Seitz, Devon Harris, CW Arnett, Gary Scott, John Harden, Bobby Bolden, Ed Budreau, George Rezabek and Adam Hart.
Sub Veteran- V. Tank Lunsford, Garl Gresley, David Winn, Tom Neal, John Fry, Jeffrey Webb, Gregg Bauserman, Richard Garmene III, Bernard Matthews and Stephen Byrns.
Veteran- Jack Curry, Roland King, Michael Welte, John Roussel, Kenneth Heathcoate, Ben Morriston, Thomas Rhoads, Charles Graham, Tim Miller and Jack Keffer.
Senior Veteran- Bobby Hubble, Vernon Brown, Jr., Gene Baxter, Harold Bowers and William Tempest. Lady I- Chrissy Byrd and Jennifer Buck.
Lady II- Mary Lynne Downham
Junior Gold- Victor Hammond
Junior- Colton Bright, Clayton Taylor, Dillen Johnson and Kaleb Lanoue. Sub Junior- Bo Redd, Ethan Buck and Noah Rice.
Again congrats to each of these shooters! Also I want to recognize the High Average shooter in Singles, Devon Harris (.9905 avg), in Handicap, Victor Hammond (.9308 avg) and in Doubles, Jason Seitz (.9715 avg).
