Ah, the smell of gun powder and being around good friends. It doesn’t get any better than that. It’s that time of year again here in Indiana. The Indiana Board of Directors have been working hard to make the AIM and Indiana State Shoot one of the best ever. Please come out and join us at the Indiana Gun Club in Fortville, Indiana, July 5-10. Enjoy the hospitality of the Mid-West along with making new friends and having good food.
I want to thank Fulton County Gun Club, Kingen Gun Club, and Evansville Gun Club for hosting the Indiana Zone Shoots. I know it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to run a large shoot. I have heard many shooters say how outstanding each of the shoots were.
I would like to mention that the youth had special shoots in June at Kingen Gun Club and Columbus Gun Club. Thanks for helping our youth. Also Kingen Gun Club will host a memorial shoot for Mildred Kingen. As most of you know, Mildred died last year. Kingen Gun Club is hosting a special shoot in her memory July 17, 2011.
A reminder that Evansville Gun Club is one of the host sites for the ATA Central Zone shoot. It will be July 29-31. Come and join us. This is a good warm-up for the Grand
