January 2011 Delegate Report

As I write this article, I am sitting here dreaming about summer and shooting.  Here in Indiana, winter has come upon us again.  As far as registered shooting is concerned, there isn’t a lot going on right now.  There are some shooters who are registering targets throughout the winter months and my hat is off to those shooters. One of those shooters is David Wade. David ‘s home club is Indian Creek Shooting Center in Georgetown, IN. At Indian Creek’s December registered shoot David shot at and broke his 25,000 bird in doubles, singles and handicap. Congratulations David.  Most of our clubs in Indiana are getting ready for the upcoming trap season.  Most of the dates have been set and plans made for some fantastic shooting in Indiana.  I know some of the gun clubs are already working on special shoots for the coming shooting season.  There will be great shooting at our local clubs, but also mark your calendars and join us for the Indiana Zone Shoots and Indiana State Shoot.
