August 2014 Delegate Report

The Indiana State Shoot is over for another year and it was a great shoot.  I would like to thank everyone who came and shot with us.  I also would like to thank the Indiana Board of Directors for their hard work.  Also, thanks to everyone who helped us get ready for the shoot by volunteering their services.  We appreciate it very much.  It takes a lot of people working together to have a successful state shoot and we are very fortunate to have people like that in Indiana.

I want to remind everyone that St. Joe Conservation Club will be holding the ATA Central Zone Shoot August 1, 2, & 3.  There is a lot of excellent shooting being done at our local clubs here in Indiana.  I know that Indian Creek Gun Club had their Seitz Memorial Shoot and Fulton County Gun Club had their Silver Shoot already.  A lot of other Indiana Gun Clubs will be having their special shoot throughout the rest of the summer.  Let’s support our local gun clubs with our attendance at those shoots.

I would like to congratulate Warren Slider for shooting his 150,000th singles target at this year’s Seitz Memorial shoot. This is quite an accomplishment.

And thank you to the Indiana Shooters for your support this past year and for allowing me to be your Indiana ATA Delegate.  I look forward to serving the shooters of Indiana in the coming year.

Roland King

ATA Delegate
