August 2010 Delegate Report

Congratulations to all the trophy winners at the Indiana State Shoot. And thank you to all who attended our State Shoot. I hope everyone had a wonderful time and will plan on attending next year.

I especially want to thank the Indiana Board of Directors. Without their long hours of work and their dedication to trapshooting, we would not be able to host the Indiana State Shoot. So, on behalf of the Indiana Trapshooters, I would like to say thank you to the Indiana Board of Directors.

Remember there is a lot of good shooting in Indiana. Most clubs have a special shoot and a lot of those shoots are in the fall of the year.   I know one shoot that always draws a good crowd is the Tippecanoe Valley Championships at Fulton County Gun Club on September 25th and 26th.  If you can fit this shoot into your plans, I can promise you will have a wonderful time.  Another club that is throwing a lot of targets is the Alexander Conservation and Gun Club. Tom Neal and Michael Stephenson are doing a great job and are throwing some very nice targets.  I also want to mention Glen Park Izaak Walton League in Merrillville, IN.  At their registered shoots Mike Anderson Chevrolet South sponsors $100.00 give-away if you run 100 straight on Singles or Doubles and sponsors $100.00 of the $500.00 give-away for a 100 straight in Handicap.  As everyone knows, Indiana has a lot of excellent places to shoot. These are just 3 that I wanted to call shooters attention to.
