April 2011 Delegate Report

Spring has arrived and shooting is starting to get into full swing. Along with spring come target marathons. Marathons are an excellent way to shoot a lot of targets in a short period of time. Marathons are also great practice for the upcoming shooting season.

Some of the clubs in Indiana are also holding their special Spring Shoots. I know Alexandria Conservation and Gun Club will be holding their spring shoot on June 4-5. Indian Creek Shooting Center will be holding the John Seitz Memorial Shoot on June 11-12. Fulton County Gun Club will have their Spring Silver Shoot June 11-12. These are just a few of the Spring Shoots that are available for shooters to enjoy.

Don’t forget the Indiana Zone Shoots in May as well as the Indiana State Shoot in July. Also this year Evansville Gun Club will be one of the host sites for the ATA Central Zone held the last week-end in July.  I would like to congratulate the trophy winners from Indiana who shot at the Dixie Grand. They were: Morris McCoskey, Michael Cornelius, Brandon Sullivan, Howard Thomas II, Tank Lunsford, Robert Smith III, and Elir Eddy.
